This time, I would like to give you a short update on what has happened since the last Newsletter and tell you about the upcoming events. Two weeks ago, I returned back from Finland where I had the privilege of being part of the leadership team of the Finnish FireCamp organized by Christ for all Nations (CfaN). We had about 40 young people from several different nations and 7 leaders spend a powerful week together in the presence of God, learning and growing in our calling as evangelists. It was truly an honor to get to know them all, and also so encouraging and fun to train these fiery young men and women! In addition to the classroom sessions, we also went out and put everything into practice on the streets of Jyväskylä where we saw 41 salvations only in a few hours. This FireCamp changed the lives and destinies of our attendees forever and set many of them on a whole new course with Jesus.
After the FireCamp, I went to my home city, Turku, and took some of the FireCampers along. The church that I grew up in, had invited me to come and do an evangelistic weekend together with them. It became an inter-denominational event and was very blessed in so many ways. We had about 60-70 people attend the training on a Saturday morning and then we went out that afternoon and the next day, seeing 18 salvations in a very short time. Many believers ventured out like that for the very first time, and I heard several of them say: “I love this! I never thought it would be so easy and so much fun!”. We preached out in the open and had individual conversations and fruitful encounters with many people. Many wanted to receive prayer, among them two celebrities that everyone in Finland knows.
The church was encouraged and excited about all that they experienced that weekend and I was thrilled to see my own home church launch out and share the gospel with the lost on the streets of Turku.
In the past few months, I’ve also preached in several churches both home and abroad, which is always a great joy to me. People always receive Jesus at the meetings as I never fail to preach the gospel at least as a part of my message!
Right now, I am preparing for two major outreaches. In October, I will be back in Indonesia, where due to Covid-19, I haven’t been able to go for more than two years. Now I’m finally returning, and will be there for a whole month. I will be traveling with one of my Bootcamp friends and we will do two weeks of children’s and youth ministry in Papua. During this time, we will reach out to thousands of children and youth with the gospel. I will also visit our building project outside the city of Sorong. After that, I will go to another part of the country together with two other Bootcamp friends and start preparations for a crusade that will take place in April next year on the island of Halmahera. We will have lots of meetings with pastors and leaders and get the ball rolling. Please lift this trip to Indonesia up in prayer! Especially the first two weeks, where we will reach out to the young generation. Pray for favour and protection and great openness to the gospel. Remember, Indonesia has the largest Muslim population of all the countries of the world! So spiritually speaking, we are gonna be poking a beehive. Despite the facts I shared, we believe in thousands of salvations during this time in Papua! The dates for this whole trip are October 12th thru November 12th.
Right after getting back from Indonesia, I will head out to Rwanda, where I’ll lead a “kids’ crusade” initiative over three weeks. Our goal is to see at least 235.000 salvations during this time, which will bring us to the mark of 1 MILLION SALVATIONS in Rwanda in 2022. We already went there earlier this year and saw about 765.000 salvations and now our goal is to pass the mark of 1 Million. Please also pray for this massive project! We need favour and protection.
When you hear these numbers and learn about the possibilities of reaching out so many souls with the message of salvation, doesn’t it make you want to be somehow part of it? I’m sure it does! And you know what? You CAN be part of this enormous harvest. I would really want you to win you over so that you can join and become part of the team. TOGETHER we can do this! God needs you and me in order to see all this happen.
And so I’m asking and inviting you to partner together with me in this great task. Please ask God and see if you could help by interceding or financially so that we can go to these precious children and youth and bring them the message that changes their lives for now and for eternity! When you pray or give, you become a shareholder of everything God does through our team, which you are a part and parcel of.
We need the total of 7.000€ to cover the cost of these two trips that will result in a massive harvest of souls. I will go, and I kindly ask you to please help me go.
Together we are a strong team that pulls in the fishing nets!
